Novelist, essayist, scriptwriter, short story writer and lecturer, Harlan Ellison

                I mailed a CD of my audio short stories (audio plays), especially," Harlan Speaks", an audio satire,
                to Mr. Harlan Ellison, my favorite writer..    Mr. Ellison liked my audio play satire about him and in turn
                mailed to me a little gift and a thank-you letter.   I posted Mr. Ellison's thank-you letter on my web page:

                 Mr. Ellison's has written, please GOOGLE him.   He mainly writes short stories, but he also writes
                 novels, magazine articles, essays, teleplays and screenplays.    Mr. Ellison's work,"City On The Edge of Forever"
                 was one of the best and memorable episodes of the classic Star Trek series from the 1960's.   The "Terminator"
                 movies are based on his work.   He's won several literary awards. Check out his background on Wikipedia:

             Anthony Pomes as Harlan   and   me, Bradley Phoenix as Jerry Smith (with the Californian surfer-dude accent).

                                     My favorite film director is the late legendary Stanley Kubrick   ("2001: A Space Odyssey", "Spartacus",
                                     "Dr. Strangelove", "Paths of Glory", "Barry Lyndon", "The Shining"....).   I did a homage to Mr. Kubrick by
                                     writing and directing live over the radio at WUSB-90.1 FM, Stony Brook University,"The Gods in the Pentagon"
                                     OR   "Dr. Strange-Body".   "Dr. Strange-Body" is a 21st Century "Dr. Strangelove", but with different
                                     characters (a lady U.S. President for one) and a very different plot than "Dr. Strangelove".    It has elements
                                     of black comedy (an official prayer for a plane to crash).    My actors performed this over the radio LIVE.
                                     "Dr. Strange-Body's" running time as a radio play is 38 minutes and I have it digitally archived.

                                     Why do I write?   Why have I written & directed over 100 original scripts of various lengths and genres?
                                      Because I love writing, moving readers, and to attract Hollywood producers and stage producers.
                                      I started off writing poetry.   Then I went to short stories.    Finally, I started writing scripts, mostly radio (audio)
                                      play scripts, but I've also written newspaper columns, essays, blogs, lyrics, proposals, stage plays and screenplays.

Here's an excerpt of "The Gods In The Pentagon", I'm 95% finished converting "Dr. Strange-Body"
from a radio play into a stage play and screenplay:
