* NOTE: There will be monthly meetings right up to the
conference that will report on who's doing what,
who's on the staff, and report on the budget.

CREATIVE WORKSHOPS:
Poetry, short story writing, how to write a film script, Music in
theatre, How to write a comic book & comic book history, Hip Hop poetry,
How to be a stand-up comedian, stage acting, how to be a voiceover
artist, writing for children... OPEN FOR SUGGESTIONS.
* Dr. Ellen Kamhi will be invited to teach on holistic approach to health
I've known Ellen for over 10 years. She has a national radio program:
Natural Alternatives
* Professor William Foster, African American, will be giving a workshop
on Black people in comics and comic book history. He's coming from
New England
DEALERS BOOTHS OR TABLES:
There will be a room just for DEALERS to sell photos, books, DVDs,
or hand out free material. NO FOOD VENDORS. The campus will have
cafeterias and restaurants.
Veterans for Peace will have a table at this event. I'm a member.
It's not definitive yet, but booths or tables for this 8-hour event
may cost $150.00
It's tentative, but those who are performers and staff will have
to pay $3.00, but have full access to anywhere in the convention.
Ushers and security will check to see if anyone has a ticket or
stamped hand to gain entrance to stage performances and workshops.
The Dealer's Room will be open to the general public and no
stamp or ticket is required.
* This event is for spoken-word artists to perform. The performances
will be recorded to air on public access television.
This conference is for ages: 10 years old and over AND not for
crying babies to interrupt the performances.
This is an educational event.
Only seeing-eye dogs ARE allowed - Otherwise NO pets allowed.
You don't bring crying babies, dogs, birds, and cats to a Broadway play.
There's no smoking allowed at this event (cigarettes, pot, crack, etc.).
Consuming of alcoholic beverages is not allowed at this event.
